Coach Maintenance

Our qualified technicians have many years’ experience in servicing and repairing all makes of coaches and in order to maintain our fleet we have invested in our own in-house workshop.

Our coaches and buses are inspected on a 4 to 6 week routine maintenance programme by our team of fitters and we also carry out a similar programme for other local coach operators. As part of our membership to the Freight Transport Association (FTA), our vehicles are also periodically checked by their inspectors to ensure they meet required safety standards.

All our drivers have their Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), and are fully trained in ‘driver walk round check’ techniques. This is an inspection of a pre-determined list of items such as tyres, lights, body work etc. to ensure the vehicle is prepared for the journey ahead. This check is carried out at the beginning of every day and we also carry out an ‘aisle check’ during the day to ensure the interior of the coach meets the required standards.

Above all else, the safety of our passengers and employees is our highest priority.
