Our fleet of modern coaches are fully air-conditioned for passenger comfort, and have seatbelts and toilet facilities as standard.
For schools and young children's groups we can provide high capacity 70 seat coaches with 3 point belts and also offer risk assessment documentation if necessary
Group organisers can contact us and we will be happy to advise or arrange all your travel needs - from single journeys and days out, to extended tours, both UK and continental - where we can also provide hotels, ferries, meals and attractions

A Lyles was founded in 1926, initially as a Haulage company, but the wagons were dual purpose... Known as 'Charabancs', the goods bodies were replaced by bench seats at the weekend so that they could be hired out to take people on day trips and work outings.
After WW2, coach hire became the firm's primary business venture and by the 1970's the haulage was terminated all together in order to concentrate on the travel side.
Over the years the business has grown and expanded, and with regular investment in new vehicles we now have one of the most modern fleet in the area.
In 2011 we acquiried the Longstaff of Mirfield company (Also established in the 1920's). and this continues to operate with its own identity within A Lyles & Son.
